~Gaur Gopal Das

This beautiful self-help book is written by Prabhu Gaur Gopal Das also known as Gaur Gopal Das. Most of you are familiar with him as a YouTuber or as a lifestyle coach or motivator speaker or author. In his earlier life, he did electrical engineering in Pune and then left his home and joined as a member of ISKCON in Maharashtra. He was enlightened under the guidance of Shri Radhanath Swami and A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

Gaur Gopal Das has shared his wisdom through this book in a beautiful manner by enlightening us about spirituality and the monk mindset for living a peaceful life with lasting happiness. This book enlightens us about the real meaning of spirituality. This is written in a fictional way so that readers cannot get disinterested by just cramming the knowledge or information. It consists of some humorous anecdotes of Gaur Gopal Das and many teachings as well. It is one of the must-reads as it contains the secrets of living a life with spirituality and calmness and happiness with balancing the four wheels of life. Just like four wheels play a crucial role in maintaining the balance of a car, Life can also be balanced with the four wheels of life: Personal Life, Relationships, Work Life, and Social contribution.

This book can solve major of your problems as it teaches many lessons about living a happy life. It also contains a few worksheets for Forgiveness and Ikigai (it’s a Japanese terminology that means “identifying the purpose of life”) and consists of exercises that are doable. It shows that being successful isn’t enough for living a happy life and showing gratitude towards you are grateful and positivity also plays an important role in balancing a peaceful life. It shows the monk mindset which is very important to follow for a peaceful journey called life. It is not important to follow the way of the monk by leaving your space or place you are living and going to any ashram. But it is about the mindset which is important to change your struggling life into harmonious life. It also states that self-discovery plays an important role in finding purpose in life.
