If we talk about the role of media in this digital world, yes, it is still playing a very important role by enlightening the public offline as well as online. In this digital world, media has also developed its level of communication with the public. Now, people record any video and send it to the channel for the truth. Yeah, it has advantages and disadvantages, but it is helping the public to get involved in the matter of the country by putting their thoughts publicly. For example, they are using Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and any other social media platforms for putting their thoughts or options.
Journalists are still playing the role at ground level. If we look back in 2020, the lamentable year for everyone when Corona came, yes, there was a lockdown, but the journalist was not off duty. They were traveling to rural areas to know the situation of the area and inform us about the situation. In today's digital age, every citizen has the potential to function as a journalist with a commitment to uncovering the truth, raising awareness, and holding wrongdoers accountable.
